About Us

Monte’s is a neighborhood restaurant in the Lower Village of Montecito, shaped by the seasons, the Central Coast, and our own regenerative farm, Rincon Hill Farm.

Led by Executive Chef Daniel Kim, the menu celebrates California cooking through produce grown just a few miles away in Carpinteria. What we grow helps guide what we cook, allowing the restaurant to move with the rhythm of the land while keeping the experience generous, relaxed, and deeply rooted in place.

Through this commitment to thoughtful sourcing, responsible farming, and a more connected way of building a restaurant, Monte’s was awarded a Michelin Green Star just three months after opening.

At Monte’s, warm hospitality, seasonal cooking, and a sense of everyday occasion come together around the table.
